Cables are the lifeblood of Audiovisual system; uncompromising quality is essential.

President & CEO
Eishi NAKAYAMA

In 1983, AIM started manufacturing transmission cables for the data communications field. Since then, AIM has consistently refined its technology for connecting devices.

With our technology, we ensure the reliable transmission of signals across various systems, including data communication, visual transmission, industrial equipment, medical equipment, home theaters, and more. AIM has consistently led in the development of new services and transmission trends with cutting-edge technology.

We interviewed the head of AIM, an Audiovisual brand having a mission of technology connects to the future which is always active at the forefront as a connection company, about AIM’s philosophy and the essence of its manufacturing.

What does AIM give the highest priority to develop and manufacture products?

We’ve consistently emphasized a performance-orientated philosophy for 40 plus years.

By providing high-quality, professional-graded products for many years, we’ve earned unwavering trust from our customers.

We perform on the forefront of developing cutting edge technology, as we pursue uncompromising quality with our deep understanding of transmission-line theory and characteristics of cables every single day.

And we convey our philosophy and thoughts to our customers by delivering the performance-oriented products.

Rest assured that this philosophy will never waiver as long as AIM exists.

What is the greatest strength of AIM?

High reliability and expertise that we’ve developed through manufacturing telecommunication cables for over 40 years. That is our pride and passion.

We’ve continued to provide the best solutions for rapidly developing and expanding computer networks, along with communication cables and power cables, which are important lifeblood of information networks.

Meticulous attention to detail in each step of designing, manufacturing and inspection process for communication networks, where the slightest error or defect can cause a major communication failure.

The history of communication infrastructure is marked by the rapid development of optical signal communication as an alternative transmission technology, as the dramatic increase in communication speed has approached the limits of transmission using electrical signals.

Such transmission requires deep understanding of both electricity and optics, which are different fields in the world of physics, and high level of technology is needed to convert one another.

AIM has pursued each of these technologies, electricity, optics, and conversions, and for that we have the advantage of being able to develop products even at the limit of physics.

AIM's Audiovisual cables are the result of maximizing the expertise and reliability that we have cultivated in the consumer field.

We have earned advanced expertise and reliability by constantly producing cables that have been used and adapted in variety of industries and devices. And we put all our expertise to our Audiovisual cables.

AIM's audiovisual cables are highly evaluated for their high quality.
What are your thoughts on quality?

We never compromise on quality because our products are for home use, where people pursue their hobbies.

AIM's pursuit of quality allows no compromise in any department or process.

This has been consistent since the company's founding. In the inspection process as well as in design and manufacturing, there is no such thing as "good enough”. Visitors to our factory are always surprise and say "You go that far?”

We do not make products at the very limit of transmission capability, but rather making with over-specification to be able to maximize each product’s performance, and we manage and control products thoroughly with the highest standard of full inspection for all our products.

Uncompromising manufacturing and uncompromising corporate culture, those are the standards of AIM.
